CHICAGO --- AAA Chicago's most recent Fuel Gauge Report, released Nov. 18, estimated that in Illinois, regular unleaded gasoline decreased $1.04 in the previous month.

"After a spring and summer of extremely high prices, consumers are now enjoying relief at the pump as prices have decreased significantly," said Beth Mosher, AAA Chicago's spokesperson. "Prices are falling daily and are much lower than they were both a month and a year ago. This is providing consumers with such much needed relief as the economy overall continues to struggle."
