The International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) just returned from the National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA) Fleet Management Institute where it successfully spread the mission and goals of the alliance and increased its exposure to different markets impacted by the remarketing industry. "Exhibiting and attending different tradeshows and events that are related to the industry is a valuable way to explore all remarketing venues and expose more people to the association and its purpose," said Matt Marks, IARA executive director. "This is an ongoing effort for IARA." The IARA also plans to exhibit at the upcoming National Vehicle Leasing Association’s (NVLA) 2003 Annual Conference, Exposition & Auto Show May 21-24 at the San Diego Marriott Hotel & Resort in San Diego. NAFA is a non-profit, individual membership professional society. It serves the needs of those who manage a fleet of automobiles, light-duty trucks, or vans in the United States and Canada. NAFA boasts a membership of over 2,600 full and associate members, with 34 regional chapters across the US and Canada. NVLA represents the vehicle leasing industry. NVLA provides educational opportunities, promotes responsible legislation, and communicates with members regarding developments and trends in vehicle leasing. NVLA promotes the leasing concept while encouraging the highest ethical and professional standards.
