For this upcoming event, the IARA will be offering a virtual expo hall and unique opportunities for interactions between attendees, relevant industry discussions, and insightful keynote speakers, the Alliance said.

The virtual event will kick off with a morning introduction from IARA President Paul Seger, this will be followed by a session titled “What’s on the Horizon for Consignors” presented by Steve Greenfield, CEO and founder of Automotive Ventures, which will offer insight into the consignor marketplace and expectations for the future.

Following this will be a session called “Where Do We Go From Here,” that will feature a group of leading consignors representing various segments on how they are responding to the “new normal’ and changes in the wholesale markets.

Later is a “2020 Dealer Insights” panel moderated by Executive VP for KAR Global Dealer Sales Steve Jordan. He will be speaking with a panel of dealers to gain their perspectives on what’s ahead and how they are adapting to industry changes.

After lunch, three different webinars will be hosted on subjects pertinent to the remarketing industry: logistics, repossessions, and titling. Subject matter experts will speak on challenges and resources in today’s environment and share in interactive dialogue among the group.

Later is a session on the new business dynamic of physical auctions, which will address the impact of COVID-19 with leaders from various auction chains. This will cover what they’ve encountered, learned and how they have changed their business model to adapt to “the new normal”.

Meanwhile, the keynote speakers for this year include Melinda Zabritski, senior director, Experian, who will examine several key areas of the automotive finance market and discuss how these trends will impact remarketing professionals. One area of focus will be on how vehicle leasing trends are impacting the used-vehicle market. What might this mean for remarketing professionals?

The second keynote speaker is Blake Stratton, business consultant, Michael Hyatt & Co., who will present a four step-system designed to help individuals grow their businesses. His processes have helped companies grow their business, reduce hours from their work week, and helped clients thrive midst the pandemic.
