Hyundai's 2018 Accent will retail for at least $15,880, which is $250 more than the comparable 2017 model, the company has announced.

The base subcompact sedan adds a 5-inch color touchscreen with rearview camera, Bluetooth phone interface, steering-wheel-mounted controls, a spare tire, and 15-inch wheels as standard equipment.

Hyundai will offer three trim grades, including the SE, SEL, and Limited with a six-speed manual transmission option on the base model, which retails for $15,880, including delivery fees. Non-manual models get a six-speed automatic with Shiftronic.

The 2018 Accent receives an updated powertrain with a 1.6-liter Gamma four-cylinder direct-injected engine that makes 130 horsepower and 119 pound-feet of torque.

Forward-collision avoidance assist with automatic emergency braking is available on the Limited trim, while infotainment upgrades have been packaged on the SEL and Limited trims. SEL adds a 7-inch display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 15-inch wheels, and dual-charging USB, while Limited adds 17-inch wheels and push-button start.
