FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA - Gary Knapp was named national manager, fleet operations for Hyundai Motor America (HMA). He replaces Tom Hetrick, formerly national manager, fleet & remarketing operations, who was promoted within the company.

Hetrick is being promoted to director to replace Richard Lueders as regional general manager in the South Central Region. He is a 24-year Hyundai employee who spent the last six years at HMA Headquarters at key positions in Logistics, Distribution, and Fleet. Prior, he spent nearly 19 years in a wide variety of field positions within the Southern region. Hetrick will be relocating with his family to Dallas later this summer.

Knapp, formerly national manager of field sales operations, will be assigned as the new national manager of fleet operations replacing Hetrick. He has been in Field Operations for the past six years and will celebrate his 20^th anniversary at HMA later this year.
