Hyundai Equus Gets 2012 Motorist Choice Award in Two Categories
COSTA MESA, CA – IntelliChoice and AutoPacific gave Hyundai the 2012 Motorist Choice Award in the Luxury Lifestyle and High Tech category for its Equus luxury sedan.

COSTA MESA, CA – IntelliChoice and AutoPacific gave Hyundai the 2012 Motorist Choice Award in the Luxury Lifestyle and High Tech category for its Equus luxury sedan. According to IntelliChoice and AutoPacific, the Equus combines amenities and value.
“Hyundai has worked hard to create a vehicle that provides luxury car shoppers with tremendous value and amenities, and as winner in categories for Luxury Lifestyle and High Tech, demonstrates that they've surely succeeded in the mind’s eye of the consumer,” said Dan Hall, vice president, AutoPacific.
The sedan features Hyundai’s new direct injection 5.0-liter Tau V-8 engine, which is capable of producing up to 429 hp and is matched with a new in-house eight-speed transmission.
For the 2013 model-year Equus, Hyundai said it upgraded the V-8 and transmission and added a new interior color combination.
