Honda has begun production of its fifth-generation 2017 CR-V compact SUV at its the East Liberty Auto Plant in Ohio, the automaker has announced.
The CR-V, which was first introduced in 1997, has been built at the plant since 2007. The move makes East Liberty the lead plant for global production of the CR-V, which will add several updates for 2017 including a turbocharged 1.5L four-cylinder engine.
