REDWOOD SHORES, CA – Tom Stephenson has been appointed to GreenRoad Technologies Inc.'s board of directors, according to Marketwire. With nearly 20 years of management experience, Stephenson brings a deep understanding of the fleet industry to his role, as well as extensive operational and leadership expertise.

Currently, Stephenson is the director of group revenue management for Avis, the largest car rental service in Europe. He is responsible for rental volumes, prices, and vehicle utilization for the group. Previously, Stephenson was a director at GE Capital Fleet Services, where he very successfully introduced telematics technology as a brand differentiator for the fleet industry. While there he also formalized methodologies for product development, product planning, and market intelligence gathering.
