Grease Monkey Celebrates Grand Opening in Thornton, CO
The Grease Monkey vehicle preventive maintenance center at 3590 E. 104th Ave. in Thornton celebrated its grand opening May 14-19, 2001, with special offers on the full-service oil change and the “Ultimate Monkey Shine Car Wash.” This is the first Grease Monkey location in the Boulder/Denver area to operate an automatic touchless car wash, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Every full-service oil change at Grease Monkey includes new oil and filter, a check and fill of all major fluids, tire pressure check and set, interior vacuum, and exterior window wash. In addition to full-service oil changes, Grease Monkey provides other preventive maintenance services that meet manufacturers’ recommendations for most makes and models of vehicles, including transmission service, radiator flush and fill service, drive belt replacement service, air filters, and fluids for power steering, windshields, and differentials. The Grease Monkey center at 3590 E. 104th Ave. is open Monday–Friday, 8-6, and Saturday, 8-5. The center is owned by Boulder Lube & Oil and is a franchised operation of one of the nation’s largest franchisers of vehicle preventive maintenance centers, Grease Monkey International Inc.
