GM Launches New Incentive Program
Starting May 1, 2002, General Motors launches a new retail marketing program that will offer $1,000, $2,000, or $3,000 customer cash on the purchase of all new 2002 Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac-GMC cars and trucks through July 1. Alternatively, customers can take advantage of a 1-2-3 APR plan — APR financing rates of 1.9 percent for up to 36 months, 2.9 percent for up to 48 months, or 3.9 percent for up to 60 months. (Saturn, Saab, HUMMER, and all 2003 models are excluded from this program.) Fleet customers can also use the retail incentives. The program was designed to build on the success of GM’s “Keep America Rolling” and “GM Overdrive” marketing programs. “1-2-3” Finance Terms for All 2002 Models $1,000 or 1.9/2.9/3.9%: Cadillac DeVille, Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Corvette, Chevrolet TrailBlazer/EXT, GM Fullsize Pickups (Crew Cab), GMC Envoy/XL, and Oldsmobile Bravada $2,000 or 1.9/2.9/3.9%: Buick Century, Buick Regal, Buick Rendezvous, Cadillac Escalade EXT, Cadillac Seville, Chevrolet Astro Cargo, Chevrolet Avalanche, Chevrolet Blazer, Chevrolet Camaro, Chevrolet Express, Chevrolet Impala, Chevrolet Malibu, Chevrolet Monte Carlo, Chevrolet Suburban/Tahoe, GMC Safari Cargo, GMC Savana, GMC Yukon/Yukon XL, Oldsmobile Alero/Intrigue, Pontiac Aztek, Pontiac Firebird, Pontiac Grand Am/Grand Prix, GM Fullsize Pickups (except Crew), and 3500 Heavy Duty $3,000 or 1.9/2.9/3.9%: Buick LeSabre, Buick Park Avenue, Cadillac Eldorado, Chevrolet Astro-Pass & Conv, Chevrolet Cavalier, Chevrolet Prizm, Chevrolet S-10, Chevrolet Tracker, Chevrolet Venture, GMC Safari-Pass & Conv, GMC Sonoma, Oldsmobile Aurora, Oldsmobile Silhouette, Pontiac Bonneville, Pontiac Montana, and Pontiac Sunfire
