General Motors is investing $167 million in its Spring Hill, Tenn., assembly plant where the automaker said this investment will go to support two future mid-size vehicle programs.
Out of the $167 million, $40 million are going toward one program and the remaining $127 million are going toward the second. This investment brings the total planned investment to $350 million for the new vehicles to be built there. GM said it will reveal more about the vehicles planned for the plant at a later date and has not officially announced them yet.
