GE Capital Fleet Services today announced it is releasing new technology enhancements for customers as part of a phased build up to the launch of its new and improved fleet management platform later this year.

The new enhancements for fleet managers are initially available on a limited release for select customers. They include advanced tools for customization, search, cost management, factory ordering, compliance, driver messaging, remarketing and data integration that GE has designed to improve fleet management, administration, and communications on the web and through mobile devices. GE will provide broader availability of its new tools and platform later this year.

The technology enhancements from GE are the result of direct feedback from GE’s fleet customers. They are also a precursor to the rollout later this year of GE’s new and improved fleet management platform known as MyFleetOffice2. GE’s new platform will give fleet decision-makers a complete data picture on a single platform. Fleet managers will have the ability to continuously identify insights and proactively recommend solutions for fleets of all sizes and needs.

"With the enhancements we’re rolling out today, we’re giving our customers access to advanced analytics, search tools and other services to help make their jobs easier,” said Darrin Hebert, Chief Information Officer for GE Capital Fleet Services. “We’re continuing to design and build compelling new technology tools for fleet management through direct feedback from our customers, and we’re looking forward to making our new MyFleetOffice2 platform available to all of our customers later this year.”

With MyFleetOffice2, fleet managers will be able to harness the power of their data in myriad new ways and complete a broad range of administrative tasks quickly, easily, and entirely online. The investment in MyFleetOffice2 is the largest that GE has ever made in fleet customer technology and is expected to create significant new advantages for GE customers.
