FuelQuest Adds Two Key Executives to the Management Team

HOUSTON, TX - Tom Benwell and Casey Zandbergen join FuelQuest's management team. Benwell joins as vice president of sales, and Zandbergen joins as vice president of strategic initiatives.

HOUSTON, TX - FuelQuest, the leading on-demand software and services company for the global downstream energy industry, announced the addition of Tom Benwell and Casey Zandbergen to its management team. Mr. Benwell joins as vice president of sales, and Mr. Zandbergen joins as vice president of strategic initiatives. With 2011 expected to be another year of continued domestic and international expansion, the addition of Benwell and Zandbergen provides critical industry and veteran leadership in the areas of sales execution, product development, and new market expansion.

Tom Benwell brings more than twenty years of sales and market development experience to the company. Prior to FuelQuest, Mr. Benwell was president and chief executive officer of Argus Advisory Group, a consulting firm specializing in executive development and sales team performance. He also served as vice president of global sales at Hewlett-Packard and Compaq Computer Corporation as well as vice president of sales and marketing at Nova Graphics International. Mr. Benwell received his bachelor of business administration degree from Texas A&M University and proudly served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force.

Casey Zandbergen has over fourteen years of experience in technology product development and international market expansion in the mid-stream and downstream energy industries. Prior to joining FuelQuest, he was president and chief technology officer at World Telemetry. In addition, Mr. Zandbergen led the product development team at LPG Central that created the first patented, EPA approved wireless ATG system. He has also architected and led product development for petrochemical business intelligence and supply chain software solutions at Airgas, Inc. Mr. Zandbergen received his bachelor of arts degree from the University of Tulsa.
