WILSONVILLE, OR - Ricky Alan Dralle, a former fleet manager at Rite-Aid's regional distribution center in Wilsonville, Ore., and his wife Deborah Radcliff-Dralle, were sentenced to prison Nov. 13 after scamming Rite-Aid out of more than $400,000 over the course of 9 years, according to The Oregonian.
Dralle maintained the trailers that hauled goods from Rite-Aid's West Coast warehouses to hundreds of its stores. A trusted employee since the late '80s, he worked under minimal supervision.
He and his wife allegedly set up two dummy companies, Pac West Tire & Wheel and Willamette Truck & Trailer Parts, and billed Rite-Aid more than $400,000 for goods that were never delivered. Radcliff-Dralle, a former interior decorator, was said to be "the brains of the operation." The Dralles started the first bogus corporation in 1999, about two years after they married, reported the Oregonian.
