NEW YORK – Ford announced that Popular Mechanics magazine has given its inaugural Car of the Year award to the 2013-MY Escape. Starting this year, the publication has named a Car of the Year, and the vehicle is the editors’ choice for the award.
Ford quoted the magazine as saying the Escape is “an affordable vehicle that excels in multiple auto excellence categories,” and noted its “excellent engine options, abundance of technology and great price.”
