The 2019 Conference of Automotive Remarketing is less than two weeks away, and this year, the annual conference will feature a panel discussion led by managers of some of the leading commercial fleet leasing companies.

The panelists will include Chris Clarke, manager, North American Remarketing for ARI; Darrin Aiken, AVP of vehicle remarketing for Wheels; Jeffrey Perkins, general manager, fleet operations for Motorlease Corp.; and Alex Fraser, general manager, fleet management services for Cox Automotive Mobility.

Mike Antich, editor of Automotive Fleet, will moderate "Emerging Trends in Remarketing Corporate Fleet Vehicles."

During their discussion, the panelists will touch on multiple aspects of fleet remarketing, such as the latest trends that remarketers should be aware of in 2019, and what they should be focused on in the years to come.

One of the ever-present concerns that they will discuss will be creating the right inventory mix to maximize returns when fleet managers are ready to remarket.

Electric vehicles will also be a topic of discussion, as there is an anticipated influx of electric vehicles returning to the used market and fleet managers should be aware of what that means for their own remarketing efforts.

Personal identifiable information will also be something the panel discusses. Technology that stores personal identifiable information is becoming more common on entry level trims of vehicles, which means that more vehicles are returning to market with people's sensitive data store in them, so the panel will discuss best practices in dealing with that data.
