WESTERVILLE, OHIO – Flexco Fleet Services, a provider of nationwide corporate vehicle remarketing and fleet services, announced several enhancements to its Client Access tool, now labeled Virtual Sales Manager. Building on the successes from last year’s upgraded platform, new programs include a fully-integrated Vehicle Identification Decoder, an enhanced Consignment Location Search feature, and a new Closed-Bid Auction Status application. Flexco’s newly designed VIN Decoder was developed to expedite all entries when consigning an existing fleet vehicle. Clients entering a VIN can view the vehicle description, while the system searches for VIN authenticity and accuracy. The product is designed to validate vehicle description by identifying specific sequence model information. In addition, Flexco has recently launched an online Consignment Location Management tool designed to simplify the vehicle consignment process by enabling fleet managers, with one click, to select the appropriate division or field office via a drop-down list. The host of locations with the corresponding address and contact information is stored in the database, providing updated information. The entire consignment form can be completed in two clicks after entering the VIN. Flexco Fleet Services further announced new system developments with its Closed-Bid Auction Status page. “The new Auction Status application gives instant online access for fleet managers wishing to capture both time and date stamps when a potential bidder is placing a bid,” said Dave Selz, vice president of information technology for Flexco Fleet Services. “With this new enhancement and one simple click, fleet managers will now have an easier method of communicating with the bidders, both prior to and after the auction ends,” said Chris Syed, fleet manager with Mission Foods, which recently partnered with Flexco. “Flexco was able to implement all our used-vehicle processes into their system and help streamline the process for me. One of my recommendations to Flexco was that I wanted to monitor the vehicle bids and this previously wasn’t available. By monitoring the bidding process I am now able to track the bids, check the number of bids per vehicle, and monitor if there is no bidding.”
