ATLANTA, GA — FleetCor announced the appointment of former JPMorgan Chase executive, Mike Noles to the newly created position of President, Fuelman Card Issuing Business. FleetCor is also promoting its current Private Label Senior Vice President, Bill Schmit to President, Private Label Major Oil Business. Prior to joining FleetCor, Mike Noles’ has been exclusively focused on building and managing small business card portfolios at Chase Card Services, Bank One and Advanta. A veteran of the credit card industry, Noles has also held key positions at Citicorp and CoreStates earlier in his career. “The cost of fuel and fleet maintenance has become a more significant factor in the success of companies, but competing card-based products available today don’t adequately address the information and control needs that will enable businesses to reduce those costs,” said Noles. “At Fleetcor we’re now positioned through recent investment in technology and product development to deliver innovative solutions to small and large fleet operators nationwide.” Bill Schmit, a key member of FleetCor’s management team, developed FleetCor’s Private Label business, which under his leadership has now become the fastest growing division within FleetCor. Schmit’s new role as President, Private Label Major Oil will allow him to expand this business even further.
