Fleet Sales See Modest Increase in 2015
Sales of commercial vehicles from nine manufacturers increased 2.3% to 629,270 units in 2015 to finish another solid year despite a December swoon.

Sales of commercial vehicles from nine manufacturers increased 2.3% to 629,270 units in 2015 to finish another solid year despite a December swoon, according to Automotive Fleet data.
For the year, fleet sales of trucks, SUVs, and vans were essentially flat, increasing 0.5% to 524,687 units. Sales of cars increased 12.5% to 104,583 vehicles.
Fleet sales softened in December with a 6.9% decline to 61,696 vehicles. The truck category fell 5.3% to 53,217 units, while the car category declines 15.4% to 8,479 in the month compared to December of 2014.
