Fleet Sales Rise 6.5 Percent in February
Sales of light-duty vehicles to commercial fleets rose 6.5 percent to 47,156 in February with the strongest grown coming from passenger cars. Nine manufacturers reported the results in a monthly Automotive Fleet survey.

Sales of light-duty vehicles to commercial fleets rose 6.5 percent to 47,156 in February with the strongest grown coming from passenger cars. Nine manufacturers reported the results in a monthly Automotive Fleet survey.
Fleets added 20.8 percent more passenger cars than they did during February of 2014 with 9,464 units sold to fleets. Trucks, SUVs, and vans continue to drive fleet sales with 37,692 units sold for a 3.4 percent increase from a year ago.
Through two months of 2015, the OEMs sold 89,030 vehicles to commercial fleets for an 11.2 percent increase over 2014.
