Fleet Sales Increase 19% in March
Commercial sales of vehicles from nine manufacturers increased 19.9% to 73,752 units in March compared to a year ago, as trucks outpaced passenger cars by a wide margin, according to Automotive Fleet data.

Commercial sales of vehicles from nine manufacturers increased 19.9% to 73,752 units in March compared to a year ago, as trucks outpaced passenger cars by a wide margin, according to Automotive Fleet data.
Sales of trucks, vans, and SUVs increased 24.8% to 60,849 units from March of 2015, while sales of cars increased 1.1% to 12,903 vehicles.
Year-to-date, commercial fleet sales have increased 17.2% to 179,586 units compared to the first quarter of 2015. The truck category grew 20.8% to 149,835, while the car category increased 2% to 29,751 units.
