TORRANCE, CA - The Professional Fleet Manager of the Year and Fleet Executive of the Year awards will be presented in conjunction with the Fleet Hall of Fame ceremony during an evening reception at the 2013 AFLA conference.
TORRANCE, CA – Bobit Business Media (BBM) announced it will change the venue for the Automotive FleetProfessional Fleet Manager of the Year and Fleet Financials’ Fleet Executive of the Year award presentations to the annual Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA) Conference.
This will commence next year at the 2013 AFLA Conference, scheduled for Sept.11-13, 2013 at the Westin Kierland Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz.
The awards will be presented in conjunction with the Fleet Hall of Fame ceremony during an evening reception at the conference.
“AFLA is proud to be the new venue for Automotive Fleet’s Professional Fleet Manager of the Year Award and Fleet Financials’ Fleet Executive of the Year Award,” said Tom Callahan, AFLA president. “AFLA’s strategic focus is serving the needs of commercial fleet managers. Since these two awards are focused on recognizing excellence in the commercial fleet management profession, we believe this will further solidify AFLA’s reputation as being the voice of the commercial fleet management industry.”
The Professional Fleet Manager of the Year award is sponsored by AFLA and Wheels Inc., and the Fleet Executive of the Year award is sponsored by CEI.
As part of its co-sponsorship, AFLA provides Fleet Manager of the Year Award winners with a $5,000 scholarship check to bestow to the business school of their choice.
“In recognition of AFLA’s long-time support of the awards, BBM has made the decision to present the awards at the annual AFLA Conference moving forward. AFLA is focused on commercial fleets, and these awards recognize commercial fleet managers and executives,” said Ed Bobit, BBM founder and editor and publisher of Automotive Fleet and Fleet Financials.
