Fisher Takes the Helm at TireStamp
KANATA, ONTARIO – TireStamp's Chairman and CEO Scott Feagan has announced that Peggy J. Fisher has accepted the position of president of its U.S. operations, effective immediately. Fisher is recognized as a leading independent truck tire and wheel expert.
KANATA, ONTARIO – TireStamp's Chairman and CEO Scott Feagan has announced that Peggy J. Fisher has accepted the position of president of its U.S. operations, effective immediately. Fisher is recognized as a leading independent truck tire and wheel expert. For the past 20 years Fisher has held senior positions and been a consultant to leading commercial fleet operators and tire manufacturers. She was president of Roadway Tire Co., a retreading operation for eight years and manager of tire, trailer, and dolly maintenance for Roadway Express for 11 years during which time she was responsible for the maintenance of 28,000 trailers, 4,000 dollies, and almost 200,000 tires and wheels. Most recently, Fisher has been a consultant to fleets, tire and wheel manufacturers, and related equipment suppliers, co-authored federal government studies on commercial truck tires and tire pressure monitoring systems. Fisher is among the leaders of the Technology & Maintenance Council of the American Trucking Association having served as general chairman and treasurer and chaired its Tire & Wheel Study Group for 10 years. She currently chairs two Tire & Wheel Task Forces. She is also active in tire industry associations. She served as a director of the International Tire & Rubber Association for seven years and currently serves as vice president of the Tire Industry Association. She has also served as a director of the Tire Retread Information Bureau from 1995 to 1998 and has been a full member of the Society of Automotive Engineers since 1983. The Maintenance Council's Peggy J. Fisher Award for Excellence in Study Group Leadership, which was awarded to her in 1986, is named for her. She also holds the coveted Silver Spark Plug Award for her contributions to improving heavy-duty vehicles, their maintenance and maintenance management and TMC's Recognized Associate Award for her service to the Council.
