First Auction Sale Set for New ADESA Atlanta Facility
ADESA Atlanta will host the first wholesale vehicle auction sale at its new location in Fairburn, Ga., on Monday, Oct. 27, offering Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles.
ADESA Atlanta will host the first wholesale vehicle auction sale at its new location in Fairburn, Ga., on Monday, Oct. 27, offering Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles. The new facility, located on Oakley Industrial Boulevard, is an anchor tenant of Southpark, a 1,200-acre industrial park off Interstate 85 and Highway 74, approximately eight miles south of the Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport. ADESA Atlanta will become the hub for DaimlerChrysler Remarketing in the Southeast.
The auction will feature eight fully automated auction lanes, a state-of-the-art technology center that offers digital imaging, and an assembly line layout for condition reports. The facility will also feature a body, paint, and reconditioning shop, an eight-lane vehicle check-in area, and storage for over 6,500 vehicles.
ADESA Atlanta employs more than 200 people. Weekly consignment and fleet/lease sales will be held at the new facility as well as bi-weekly DaimlerChrysler factory sales. A bi-monthly heavy-duty truck sale will be hosted on Thursdays at the former ADESA Atlanta location in Newnan, Ga.
