FedEx Responds to Video of Driver Throwing Packages

FedEx’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources Shannon A. Brown has posted a video response on the company’s official YouTube channel where he apologizes to the company’s customers for the conduct of a FedEx employee whose actions were captured and shared on YouTube.

FedEx’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources Shannon A. Brown posted an official video response on the company’s official YouTube channel where he apologizes to the company’s customers for the conduct of a FedEx employee whose actions were captured and shared on YouTube. The employee in a video posted on the site was recorded throwing a number of packages into the back of a FedEx delivery vehicle (shown below).

Brown's official apology on behalf of FedEx is shown above. He also states that the company has terminated the driver's employment.

This isn’t the first time major delivery companies have had their employees caught on camera mistreating cargo, as happened with UPS and FedEx in late 2011 and early 2012. Both companies issued official apologies in response to the actions of their employees at that time.
