EXPO 2000 Upfitters Award Winners to be Decided Today
Entries for Automotive Fleet magazine’s first annual Upfitters Award were submitted by Sept. 1st, categorized and sent on to a select group of industry judges for scoring. Ultimately there will be first, second and third place overall winners chosen. Those winners will be selected today from grading sheets returned to our Torrance, CA offices, and announced at EXPO 2000 in Chicago next week. The overall first place winner will receive a First Place Trophy and a check for $1,000 to be awarded to the project engineer. Second and third place winners will also receive trophies. In addition to the trophies and the cash award, a feature article on each winner will appear in Automotive Fleet’s December truck issue. Submissions for consideration were varied and competitive and tested the peer judges’ skills. Watch the Web site for the winners.
