Emkay was awarded a Grand Stevie Award in the eighth annual Stevie Awards for sales and customer service during a banquet Friday in Las Vegas.
Emkay claimed eighth place in the top ten, putting them in the company of other Grand Stevie winners such as DHL Express Worldwide, Vizio, Delta Airlines, John Hancock, and Wyndham. In this year's Stevie Awards event, Emkay was honored with two Gold, two Silver, and four Bronze awards.
"Emkay's unique enhancements have made the lives of our customers easier from our initiatives," said Chris Tepas, Emkay's executive vice president and chief marketing officer. "It really means a lot to the people of Emkay that the Stevie Award judges felt we are performing at top levels, and I personally want to thank them for all of their outstanding efforts."
Emkay's approach to employee training — with their Passport Training Program as well as their Front-Line Customer Service Team — was honored with two Gold Stevie Awards. These innovations along with Emkay's new approach to sales within their Innovation service centers helped Emkay earn one of 10 Grand Stevies awarded in the U.S.
The Stevie Awards for sales and customer service are the world's top sales awards, contact center awards, and customer service awards. The Stevie Awards organizes several of the world's leading business awards shows including the prestigious American Business Awards and International Business Awards
"Entries to the Stevie Awards for sales and customer service awards have almost doubled over the past few years," said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. "Not only have we seen a dramatic increase in the number of entries; but the judges have also seen a remarkable rise in the quality of the nominations submitted overall. We congratulate all of this year's Stevie winners for their outstanding work."
