Emkay Announces Restructuring Roles
ITASCA, IL – Emkay, Inc., a nationwide full-service fleet leasing and management company, recently announced Gary Tepas will assume the role exclusively as chairman of their holding company.
ITASCA, IL – Emkay, Inc., a nationwide full-service fleet leasing and management company, recently announced Gary Tepas will assume the role exclusively as chairman of their holding company. Tepas has headed up Emkay for nearly 30 years. His duties as CEO will be succeeded by the company’s Executive Vice President and COO, Greg Tepas, named president and CEO.
Tepas joined Emkay in 1978 as vice president of operations and held a variety of executive positions before being named president and CEO. Tepas helped Emkay grow to the international presence it has today. As a top 10 of all fleet management companies in the United States, Tepas has helped build Emkay from the 2,853 vehicles when joining to the approximately 70,000 units in service with Emkay today.
Tepas will retain his seat on the company’s board of directors and become chairman.
Also, Dave Nagy will assume additional responsibilities as vice president, asset management. He will have full responsibilities for Emkay’s vehicle acquisition, remarketing, licensing, and tax department. He will also take on management of Emkay’s retail division, Emkay Motors, which includes their rental fleet, retail sales, and retail mechanical services.
Steve Guertler becomes Emkay’s vice president of Fleet Services, having responsibilities for maintenance services, accident management, Emkay’s safety products, and other ancillary products.
Chris Tepas becomes Emkay’s executive vice president of Client Support and Marketing whereby he transitions into a role dedicated to the overall client experience. Here, Chris Tepas will have responsibilities for the day-to-day client support teams, account managers, international operations, marketing, as well as the data analytics and reporting teams.
