According to CNET, a driverless shuttle operated by Navya was involved in an accident in Vienna, Austria, when it collided with a woman at an operating speed of 7.5 miles per hour.

Originally reported from Austrian broadcaster ORF, Bloomberg reports Navya had been testing its autonomous vehicles as part of a pilot program in the city of Vienna beginning in June. The collision occurred when the vehicle struck a 30-year-old woman in the knee.

This incident is the second time Navya has been involved in a crash. In 2017, a shuttle operating in Las Vegas was struck by a truck that had backed up into it. The driver of the truck was cited, and the crash was blamed on human error.

Since then, the driverless shuttles have continued to run in Las Vegas for about eight hours a day Tuesday through Sunday.

Bloomberg reports that following the collision in Vienna, the pilot program has been suspended in lieu of the investigation now taking place. At this time, it’s unclear when the vehicles will resume service.
