SAN DIEGO – DriveCam Inc. CEO Bruce Moeller has been awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2006 San Diego in the high-technology category. The Ernst & Young awards program was designed to recognize outstanding entrepreneurs on a regional, national, and global level who are building and leading dynamic and growing businesses. DriveCam offers a suite of solutions that mitigate driver risk by improving driver behavior and assessing liability in collisions. Under Moeller’s direction, DriveCam introduced Managed Services in late 2005. With Managed Services, certified driving behavior analysts review events, offloading the daily workload from internal teams so timely feedback can be delivered to fleet managers about their drivers. San Diego award winners are eligible for consideration for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2006 national program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the overall national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, Calif., Nov. 18, 2006. The overall national Entrepreneur of the Year award recipient is then considered for the world event held in Monte Carlo.
