Chevrolet Reworks Trax for 2017
The Chevrolet Trax subcompact SUV will arrive for the 2017 model year with an updated exterior design, interior upgrades, enhanced connectivity, and more optional safety features.

The Chevrolet Trax subcompact SUV will arrive for the 2017 model year with an updated exterior design, interior upgrades, enhanced connectivity, and more optional safety features.
The 2017 Trax is drawing U.S. buyers, especially women, and sold 63,303 units in 2015 in its first full year on the market, according to General Motors, which began selling the Trax in 2013 as a 2014-MY vehicle.
Exterior design upgrades include a new front fascia with dual-port grille and sleeker headlights. The interior features a modified instrument panel with analog speedometer and tachometer with digital driver information center. A new central instrument panel offers a 7-inch MyLink color touch screen to support upgraded connectivity, including available Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility and available 4G LTE with Wi-Fi hotspot.
New active safety options include side blind zone alert, rear cross traffic alert, forward collision alert, and lane departure warning. The Trax arrives with a standard rear-view camera and 10 air bags.
The Trax is powered by a 1.4L Ecotec turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 138 hp and 148 lb.-ft. of torque.
