FITCHBURG, MA - Fleet management software system provider Chevin Fleet Solutions has announced yet another year of international growth - flying in the face of the current situation where just financial stability is seen as success. After twenty years of service to fleet managers across the globe, the maker of FleetWave and RoadBASE is showing no signs of slowing down.

With a client roster ranging from The New York State Police and Cox Enterprises to the Smithsonian Institution, Chevin's ability to assist fleets in increasing their operational efficiency and dramatically reducing fleet spend allows it to continue to thrive in this challenging economic environment since the company's establishment in 1990.

Chevin launched its advanced desktop-based fleet management application RoadBASE in the UK in its first year, followed by FleetWave in 2001, the world's first web-based enterprise fleet management information system, and went on to open its American operations in Fitchburg, Mass., in 2002 and more recently its Australian offices in 2008. Chevin now supports fleet clients across all five continents, and most recently won its first contract in New Zealand and Indonesia. An unwavering dedication to customer service, product improvements, and business expansion are the holy trinity when it comes to Chevin's success, as managing director and founder Ashley Sowerby confirmed:

"When I started developing fleet software back in the late eighties I knew our products would change the market, but, like anything, at the time I couldn't be sure of their longevity.  Looking back twenty years on our continued success it's very satisfying to see how far we've come. It's not all been plain sailing, but the last twenty years have been a hugely enjoyable and rewarding journey. As well as developing new functionality to keep our products at the forefront of industry, the achievements that stand out have to be setting up our international offices and fleet the awards that we've won."

In addition to its financial success and widespread industry recognition, Chevin has also achieved Microsoft Accredited Partner status, and is on track to attain the software giant's Gold standard in the coming months ahead. This recognition assures that both FleetWave and RoadBASE, the Company's two core fleet management software products, are engineered to the highest specifications as set out by Microsoft.

2010 has been a year of continued evolution with the company once more positioned to take more big steps forward. With flexible and scalable fleet management software that constantly evolves to meet changing market needs, an understanding of customer requirements built up over two decades, and a global reach unmatched in the market, there seems to be no stopping Chevin Fleet Solutions in the foreseeable future.

It was also commended in 2008 in Fleet World Magazine's "Technology Award" category.

Despite a strong market position and widespread industry recognition Chevin's progress continues unabated, with the Company recently achieving Microsoft Accredited Partner status.
