The CEI Group, Inc. (CEI) and its employees have donated $2,000 in cash, food, toys and used clothing to the Hurricane Sandy Relief Foundation.
CEI employees raised some $1,400 in cash through their Fish Committee, its volunteer employee activities organization, which ran raffles for gift baskets donated by local businesses and solicited employee donations of food and clothing. Some of the funds were used to buy Christmas toys and baby food for families rendered homeless by the hurricane that hit the East Coast last October. CEI’s owners also contributed $400 as a cash donation.
Members of the Fish Committee delivered the donation to the relief foundation’s regional office in Sayreville, NJ.
