Tom Callahan has been promoted to president of GE Capital Fleet Services’ Australian business unit. Prior to this, Callahan was stationed in Tokyo, where he served for 18 months as the sales & marketing leader for GE Capital Fleet Services’ Japanese business. Callahan has been with GE Capital Fleet Services since 1987. Michael Bock, the prior president of GE Capital Fleet Services Australia, was promoted to man-aging director, sales finance for GE Capital’s Global Consumer Finance business in Australia. Bock has led Fleet Services’ Australian business since February 2000. In other news, Mark Ortiz has relocated to Tokyo to assume the position of CFO for GE Capital Fleet Services in Japan. Prior to his new role, Ortiz was the integration leader for acquisition of Associates Fleet Services – Canada, which was acquired by GE Capital Fleet Services. While at GE Capital Fleet Services, Ortiz held the positions of acting pricing leader and the manager finance for GE Capital Small Fleet Services business. Ortiz has been with GE for 10 years, starting out on the Financial Management Program and Corporate Audit Staff.
