General Motors is introducing a special edition Chevrolet Colorado aimed at California, where manufacturers sell more mid-size pickups than other markets.
The 2017 Chevrolet Colorado Shoreline will be offered on extended cab models in LT trim with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. The model has been designed for the Los Angeles market that's bigger than the next two markets combined, according to General Motors.
The Shoreline offers bright exterior colors with blacked-out trim and minimal chrome accents. It will be available in Silver Ice Metallic, Summit White, Laser Blue, or Red Hot exterior colors.
The exterior changes include body color front grill, black 18-inch wheels, and black trim for the door handles, mirrors and beltline. Shoreline also includes a spray-in bedliner, all-weather floor liners, and one-year of Sirius XM radio subscription.
