SANTA ROSA, CA - As an Alliance AutoGas partner, Blue Star will work with West Coast public and private vehicle fleets to convert vehicles from conventional gasoline to propane AutoGas.
SANTA ROSA, CA - Blue Star Gas has joined national alternative fuel vehicle conversion and fueling network Alliance AutoGas. As an Alliance AutoGas partner, Blue Star will work with West Coast public and private vehicle fleets to convert vehicles from conventional gasoline to propane AutoGas - a cleaner, less expensive and almost entirely domestic alternative fuel. With more than 14.6 million propane-powered vehicles globally, propane AutoGas is the most widely used alternative vehicle fuel in the world.
Alliance AutoGas provides America's fleets with a truly turn-key alternative fuel solution that includes:
Propane vehicle conversion equipment and labor
Clean propane AutoGas fueling station on-site at fleet base
Safety and operational training for fleet personnel and drivers
Year-round fuel provision
Ongoing technical support
After 70 years in the propane industry, Blue Star Gas is still owned and operated by the Stewart Family. What began as a small-town neighbor to neighbor business has expanded through three generations to provide full service propane distribution and the highest caliber of customer care across 45,000 square miles and nine unique Oregon and California markets.
Alliance AutoGas president Stuart Weidie is enthusiastic about the newest Alliance member, "We are excited to add Blue Star Gas to our growing, nationwide network of partners, all of whom share our core values and passion for revolutionizing the accessibility of alternative fuels."
"We have always dedicated ourselves to growth driven by customer needs, and as the demand for alternative fuels accelerates daily, the Alliance AutoGas turn-key solution helps us honor that commitment," says Jeff Stewart, President of Blue Star Gas. "In partnering with Alliance AutoGas, we are offering the next generation of 'full service' by equipping fleets throughout the Northwest to cut fuel costs and emissions, all while using a fuel that's 90 percent produced in the U.S."
Blue Star Gas will work with Alliance AutoGas to provide an integrated chain of vehicle conversions, clean fueling stations at fleet home bases, year-round fuel supply and safety & technical support.
Ideal candidates for propane vehicle conversion include taxis, law enforcement and municipal vehicles, limousines, utility company vehicles and many others.
Fleets that convert to propane AutoGas can expect:
Lower fuel costs
Significantly reduced greenhouse gas emissions
Less dependence on foreign oil (90 percent of propane is produced in the U.S.)
Green branding opportunities
Blue Star Gas and Alliance AutoGas will immediately begin discussions with local and regional vehicle fleets interested in converting vehicles to propane AutoGas.
