Bestpass has hired William Decaire as general counsel of the toll management provider, the company has announced.
In the role, Decaire will be responsible for directing the company's legal initiatives; providing senior management with advice on company strategies and their implementation; managing internal legal issues; overseeing the work of outside counsel; finalizing complex business transactions; and negotiating critical contracts.
Before joining Bestpass, Decaire practiced law for more than 17 years as an attorney with Carter Conboy, where he served as outside general counsel for several Washington, D.C.-area companies. He also served as counsel for Bestpass, which is based in Albany, N.Y. He earned his law degree from Albany Law School.
