Auto Truck Group Begins CNG Conversions
BARTLETT, IL --- Auto Truck Group, a leading builder of work trucks, has partnered with two major CNG conversion companies to convert Ford and GM work trucks to operate on compressed natural gas.
BARTLETT, IL --- Auto Truck Group, a leading builder of work trucks, has partnered with two major CNG conversion companies to convert Ford and GM work trucks to operate on compressed natural gas.
Auto Truck Group's Fort Wayne Fleet and Louisville Truck Equipment locations now offer CNG conversions for work trucks. Potential market segments for such conversions would include municipalities, fleets and utilities.
"As the demand for vehicles that operate on alternative fuel sources grows, Auto Truck will be better prepared to serve our prospective and current customer base," said Dennis Jones, vice president of sales and marketing. "Auto Truck has invested vast amounts of time and funding to understand the CNG conversion process and upfitting required."
Auto Truck Group can convert 2009 F-150s, F-250s, F-350s as well as 2009 Chevrolet/GMC 1500s and 2500s.
Auto Truck Group has locations in Chicago, Fort Wayne, Louisville, Colorado Springs and Denver that offer work truck upfitting.
