ATLANTA – Audi has unveiled its latest creation, the Q5. It’s a smaller version of the company’s Q7 SUV, according to www.statesman.com. The Q5, which will go on sale early next year, will offer the dynamic performance and handsome styling found in its larger sibling. Pricing has not been announced yet, but it is expected to be priced similarly to other small SUVs in the luxury segment, such as the BMW X3, which starts at close to $40,000.

The Q5 will be powered by a 3.2L V-6 engine that makes 265 horsepower. The transmission will be Audi’s six-speed Tiptronic, which can be shifted manually if the driver wishes. Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system will power the drivetrain.
