The transmission is a seven-speed S tronic. The quattro permanent all-wheel drive system uses a self-locking center differential and torque vectoring, and Audi provides an optional sport differential, which actively distributes power to the rear wheels. The S6 comes with the Audi drive select driving dynamics system as standard, which a driver can adjust in five stages. It modifies the shift points of the S tronic, gas pedal characteristics, the vehicle's adaptive air suspension, and the electromechanical steering system’s servo boost.

Exterior

The S6 is just slightly longer than Audi’s A6 (0.63 inches). The S6 sedan has a trunk spoiler. The S models come in eight available colors, including two exclusive ones, Estoril Blue, crystal effect and Prism Silver, crystal effect.

Interior

Inside the S6’s cabin, it features a leather sport steering wheel with aluminum shift pedals. The standard seat upholstery is a mix of Pearl Nappa leather and Alcantara, with options that include Milano and Valcona. Decorative inlays come in four materials, including matte brushed aluminum, carbon, fine-ash natural brown, or layered Beaufort oak.

The sport seats are height adjustable and come with power lumbar support as standard. Two other seat options include power-adjustable comfort seats with memory function, and power-adjustable sport seats with integrated head restraints.

Standard Equipment and Options

Other standard equipment on the S6 include xenon plus headlights, LED rear lights, an electromechanical parking brake, and a driver information system with a color display. The MMI radio plus has a Bluetooth interface.
