HERNDON, VA – Audi USA has reported its best-ever September sales in the U.S., which is the automaker’s ninth consecutive month of record-setting sales. Audi U.S. year-to-date sales date grew 15.5 percent.
"Our strong third quarter sales figures clearly reinforce that Audi is a luxury market leader,” said Audi of America President Johan de Nysschen. "All indications continue to point toward 2011 winding up as the best year Audi has ever enjoyed in the U.S. market with even more sales growth ahead."
The automaker said there was strong demand for its 2012-MY A6 and that demand for the A7 held steady. Four models within Audi's lineup posted YTD gains exceeding 25 percent, specifically the A8, Audi Q7, R8, and TT.
