AUBURN HILLS, MI – Audi of America, Inc. announced the debut of the Audi Forum Phoenix, a brand showcase for VIP guests during the week prior to Super Bowl XLII. The Audi Forum Phoenix is modeled after the 10 Audi Forums in many of the world’s major cities, including London, Tokyo, Singapore, and New York. Sitting on a nine-acre estate, the Audi Forum Phoenix will offer athletes, celebrities, and VIPs access to exclusive events and a level of intimacy and privacy unavailable to them elsewhere in the chaotic social landscape of the Super Bowl.

Amenities at the Audi Forum Phoenix include indoor/outdoor bars, a pool with private cabanas, tennis court, par-3 golf course, and outdoor fire pits. At the Forum, SBE Entertainment’s ultra-exclusive Hyde Lounge will provide an intimate late-night destination. VIPs including Kate Hudson, Warner Music Group’s Chairman and CEO of U.S. Recorded Music Lyor Cohen and NFL legends Ronnie Lott and Donovan McNabb will host private events as will brands including Marquis Jet, Sony Cierge and Reserve Portfolio by Diageo.

“The Audi Forum Phoenix is the only viable destination for VIPs seeking a true luxury experience at this year’s Super Bowl,” said Scott Keogh, chief marketing officer, Audi of America. “This extraordinary installation will truly underscore Audi’s goal of redefining luxury in the automotive segment.”

Opening the Audi Forum Phoenix on January 30 will be the “Audi Hole-in-One Challenge for Charity,” hosted by NFL Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott and current star Donovan McNabb. For each contestant that takes a swing, Audi will make a donation to Lott’s charity, All Stars Helping Kids and McNabb’s charity, The Donovan McNabb Foundation. The event also offers the opportunity for one entrant who sinks a hole-in-one to win Audi’s R8, one of the world’s most acclaimed automobiles, and winner of the prestigious 2007 “Car of the Year” Awards from Automobile Magazine, Robb Report and Playboy. Other events at the Audi Forum Phoenix include:

  • SBE is bringing the glamour of Hollywood to Phoenix with an outpost of its Hyde Lounge. One of the world’s most famous nightlife destinations, Hyde is an exclusive venue where the elite mingle in a relaxed, sophisticated environment. Hyde Lounge will be invitation only, starting at 11:00 pm nightly, Thursday - Saturday.

  • Oscar-nominated actress Kate Hudson will host a private, invitation-only event to celebrate the upcoming release of her film, “Fool’s Gold.”

  • Lyor Cohen, Warner Music Group's (WMG) Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of U.S. Recorded Music, will host a private, invitation-only dinner.

  • Ronnie Lott and Donovan McNabb will commemorate past Super Bowl highlights and raise awareness for their charities All-Stars Helping Kids and The Donovan McNabb Foundation with an intimate dinner.

  • Sony Cierge, insider access to the Sony experience, will host a private cocktail reception to kick off Super Bowl weekend.

The Audi Forum Phoenix will coincide with the brand’s first Super Bowl ad since 1991. The 60-second ad was inspired by the Oscar-winning film “The Godfather” and prominently features the Audi R8, the brand’s first mid-engine sports car.

Audi’s return to the Super Bowl was preceded by a record year for sales in the United States. The automaker sold 93,506 vehicles in the US in 2007, a 3.8% increase over the previous year.
