Atlis Motor Vehicles provided an update on its XT prototype, including the taillights, bed lights, and power stations.
“We wanted it to be absolutely perfect, and we didn’t want to take it to chance, so we did it ourselves,” said Chris Dawson, head of XP platform and XT truck.
The bed lights were built with the same process as the taillights. The plugs within the bed have 120-volt, 30-amp outlets. Drivers can plug in ancillary devices with the truck’s two USB-A and two USB-C outlets.
In addition to the outlets, the vehicle has a 240-volt, 50-amp outlet for welding and other high-voltage requirements. There is also a pneumatic hookup in the bed.
“You can bring the entire shop into the field,” Dawson said. “You don’t require any kind of infrastructure to get the job done.”
Atlis’ XT pickup trucks have four-wheel independent suspension, one speed gear box per axle, and front-truck storage.
The trucks are assembled in the U.S.A. and have a starting MSRP of $45,000. A choice of vehicle ranges will be available, including 300, 400, or 500 miles.
Additionally, the truck's trailer hitch towing capabilities range from 6,000 to 17,000 pounds depending on configuration.
