ARI a Finalist for 2013 Supernova Award
Constellation Research selected ARI’s submission – a neural data network created by of a team of developers led by ARI’s Vice President of Product Development Tony Candeloro – to advance to the finalist round.
ARI, a leading global fleet services provider specializing in complex car and truck fleets, announced that it has been named among the finalists by Constellation Research Inc. for the third annual SuperNova Awards. The Constellation SuperNova Awards recognize individuals and teams who successfully put new technologies to work to effect change in their organizations and create disruptions in their market.
Constellation Research selected ARI’s submission – a neural data network created by of a team of developers led by ARI’s Vice President of Product Development Tony Candeloro – to advance to the finalist round. It was selected from among more than 220 entries as a technology that embodies the SuperNova spirit to innovate, transform, and disrupt. This is the second consecutive year ARI has been named a finalist in the award’s “Data to Decisions” category.
In 2013, ARI implemented this neural data network, which collects and relates all fleet vehicle maintenance and repair data from vendors within given radii throughout the United States. This data drives dashboards that can visibly analyze regional vehicle operating parameters, regional vehicle spend, and regional vendor operations to identify opportunities to leverage and target the total spend of ARI’s clients. Correlating this information with geospatial dashboards provides ARI with a clear picture to better negotiate discounts on behalf of its clients and to communicate with its vendors about the opportunities that ARI provides to their immediate markets.
The winners will be announced at the SuperNova Awards gala dinner on October 30, 2013 in Half Moon Bay, California. The gala dinner will take place on the first night of Constellation’s Connected Enterprise innovation summit.
“Tony and his team have developed a groundbreaking tool that allows ARI to grow our preferred vendor network and strengthen relationships with the people who are servicing our clients’ fleet vehicles. The outcome is improved service for our customers and greater cost savings for everyone,” said ARI Senior Vice President and CIO, Steve Haindl. “Congratulations to Tony for this recognition by leaders in the IT community.”
Haindl was announced as the winner in the SuperNova Awards “Data to Decisions” category in 2012. Under Haindl’s leadership, ARI became one of the first companies in the world and the first in its industry to implement in-memory technology for delivering real-time analytics on high volumes of data.
