AMI Leasing Announces Executive Promotions

AMI Leasing announced on November 10 that Norman M. Methe of Barre, Mass. has been named regional sales manager, and John H. Tweedie of Cumberland, R.I. has been promoted to the position of assistant vice president, Fleet Maintenance Management Services.

AMI Leasing announced on November 10 that Norman M. Methe of Barre, Mass. has been named regional sales manager, and John H. Tweedie of Cumberland, R.I. has been promoted to the position of assistant vice president, Fleet Maintenance Management Services. Methe will be based at AMI Leasing’s corporate headquarters in Worcester. In his new position, Methhe will be responsible for developing new business and growing business among current customers for the Boston, North Shore and South Shore area of Massachusetts, and providing customer service throughout the region. Tweedie’s new responsibilities will include managing fleet maintenance services and Emergency Roadside Service for AMI Leasing. He will also seek to develop new and enhance existing services. Before being named to this position, Methe served as executive car sales manager for AMI. He previously served in sales positions with several auto dealerships. Tweedie, who has been with AMI for more than 14 years, most recently served as assistant vice president of maintenance. He began his service with AMI as a foreman in Providence, R.I., and has been a service manager, and a district manager for the Providence and New Bedford area, central Massachusetts and northern New Jersey. Before joining AMI, Tweedie was employed by Ford Motor Company.
