Amerit Fleet Solutions Gives Mike Roberts the Jim Murphy Excellence in Service Award
The Jim Murphy Excellence in Service Award honors the spirit and legacy of the late Jim Murphy, an Amerit Fleet Solutions manager who embodied the best of what it means to be an outstanding fleet manager.
Amerit Fleet Solutions awarded its first annual Jim Murphy Excellence in Service Award to Mike Roberts, Chamblee, GA at this year’s Annual Fleet Managers Summit in Dallas, Texas.
The Jim Murphy Excellence in Service Award honors the spirit and legacy of the late Jim Murphy, an Amerit Fleet Solutions manager who embodied the best of what it means to be an outstanding fleet manager.
Senior Fleet Managers submitted nominees for the award during March and April of 2013, based on performance criteria from the 2012 calendar year. Each nominee was judged in 4 areas- Excellence in Service, Communication, Respect and Performance through metrics, manager feedback and client testimonials.
AFS is proud to present this year’s award to Mike Roberts for his stellar performance, leadership and contribution to the success of his client’s business and AFS as a whole.
Roberts boasts an impressive 2012 Client Satisfaction Score of 96.1 percent and a Preventative Maintenance Completion Score of 100 percent.
He is responsible for managing 30 employees, most of whom he has personally hired and trained. Mike’s garage continually scores in the top 10 of all 450 AFS locations and was rated as “perfect” during an executive parts inventory review.

He is a consummate professional with strong organizational skills and outstanding leadership,” says a client. “Our program has been successful because of his initiative, accountability and his proactive approach.
