AmeriPride Orders 20 Electric Walk-in Vans
AmeriPride Services has ordered 20 all-electric step vans from Spartan Motors, Inc. for use in its fleet of delivery vehicles for textile rental and supply services.

AmeriPride Services has ordered 20 all-electric step vans from Spartan Motors, Inc. for use in its fleet of delivery vehicles for textile rental and supply services.
The vehicles, which will be built by the Spartan Fleet Vehicles and Services division, will pair a Utilimaster body with Motiv Power System's electric vehicle propulsion system. Spartan will deliver the vehicles in early 2018.
The vehicle will offer a range of 85 miles on a full charge on roadways with up to a 20% uphill grade.
AmeriPride began working with Spartan earlier this year to develop the vehicle.
