AmeriFleet Joins e-Rail Safe Program
ALPHARETTA, GA - e-RAILSAFE is the Workforce Safety and Security Management program for Class 1 Railroads and the businesses that serve them.
ALPHARETTA, GA - AmeriFleet Transportation, the Atlanta-based industry logistics solutions and transportation services provider for the fleet managements and corporate fleet industry, has joined e-RAILSAFE. e-RAILSAFE is the premier Workforce Safety and Security Management program for Class 1 Railroads and the businesses that serve them.
The e-RAILSAFE program is just one of many procedures AmeriFleet takes to fully screen its employees to meet the company's stringent standards for background checks and safety training. The e-RAILSAFE designation guarantees that AmeriFleet employees working in rail yards have been fully screened for safety and security purposes. Each year, AmeriFleet transports thousands of vehicles to and from rail yards.
"We pride ourselves on having exceptional employees. e-RAILSAFE is yet another way to ensure that our customers are being served by the most qualified and credentialed people in the field," said Juan Perez, Vice President of Operations.
To comply with the e-RAILSAFE program, employees must complete a railroad safety training course and railroad security awareness course, acquire a photo identification credential and pass a criminal history check.
