AmeriFleet has promoted Julie Allen to director of sales as the company continues its efforts to grow market share amid the merger with MetroGistics that was announced in January, the vehicle logistics provider announced.
For the past year, Allen has been serving as sales manager. She will continue to report to Ryan Showers, vice president of sales and marketing. She will focus her efforts on growing the company’s business in the transportation, licensing and work truck areas.
Allen earned the new role "based on her ability to foster meaningful, long-term relationships with customers," Showers said.
Allen came to AmeriFleet in 2013 as a business development executive with extensive knowledge of various enterprise industries. She is a native of Atlanta and lives just outside of that city.
