AmeriFleet Announces Reorganization of Operational Team

ALPHARETTA, GA – AmeriFleet, a company specializing in total logistics solutions and transportation services to the fleet management and corporate fleet industry, announces a re-organization of its operational team to meet the needs of the company's continuing growth.

ALPHARETTA, GA – AmeriFleet, a company specializing in total logistics solutions and transportation services to the fleet management and corporate fleet industry, announces a re-organization of its operational team to meet the needs of the company’s continuing growth.

Taking on new responsibilities and roles in the area of AmeriFleet’s operations will be Jon Kent, VP, National Logistics, DeWayne Davis, VP, Logistics Services and Howard Peoples, Director of New Client Integration.

As VP, National Logistics, Kent will be responsible for the implementation and leadership of AmeriFleet Logistics Services and Customer service for all field Operations and Department of Transportation (DOT) Compliance Services. He will also oversee management of AmeriFleet’s Special Projects Team and the Trucking Team. Kent, who joined AmeriFleet in November 1999, assumes his new role from previous positions with the company as a Service Delivery Professional, Dispatcher and Director of East Coast Operations.

DeWayne Davis assumes the role of VP, Logistic Services. Davis will be responsible for all call center and data entry operations, new hire processing and orientation, training development and implementation, as well as accident management and reporting. He will also oversee the AmeriFleet storage program in addition to establishing AmeriFleet’s Auto Auction delivery and pick-up process. Davis joined AmeriFleet in June 2005.

In the newly created role of Director of New Client Integration, Howard Peoples will provide seamless integration between AmeriFleet’s Operations and Client Services functions. He will have responsibility for all new clients and work to meet the needs of the company’s Critical Care Clients. Peoples, who joined AmeriFleet in November, 1997, moves to his new position from years of service on the company’s call center and data entry teams.
